Course Description

Cultural transmission is a complex process. To help understand how culture is transmitted, researchers have identified three sources of transmission: parents, educators and peers. This module considers cultural transmission by peers, and explores the role of peers across cultures and, in particular, their role as transmitters of culture and learning.
